The Macbook Pro has four ports, with each pair using a dedicated bus. Rated 4 out of 5 by Brown from Nice machine. Touch bar is a gimmick I upgraded to this 2018 15' model after breaking the display on my old 2012 13' MacBook prod. As expected, this new model is bigger and faster. The display is beautiful. Photoshop runs much faster, which I much appreciate as I process a LOT of photos. The touch bar is pretty much a marketing gimmick.
Definitely not a reason alone to buy this machine. However I do like the fingerprint reader used to unlock the machine.
I like the keyboard, and am hoping not to have the problems noted with many users of the previous year's models. I'll have to wait and see on this. As expected the laptop itself is sold and well built, which is expected from Apple. The one thing I have noticed is the exposed edges and corners of the housing are less rounded/smooth as compared to why old MacBook Pro. Perhaps because it's a bit thinner, but this is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5.
